Interview with Sick artist Lou Rusconi

1. Hey Lou - Whats up you sicko, hows your day going?
Lou: My day is going great, I'm going to ink a piece right after I finish this interview, so any day above ground is great!
2. How long have you been doing artwork for? When did you decide to do nasty shit for bands?
L: I have been drawing since I was about 3. My Old Man painted a lot so that influenced me. I have always been drawn to the dark and nasty so I always wanted to do art for my favorite groups. Around 1996 I was professionally employed as an artist and decided a good way to introduce myself to bands I wanted to do work was to do stage banners for them. So I started that way. Around 2003, I stopped the banners and now only do logos, covers, shirt designs, etc.
3. Do you have a favorite band or artist youve done work for? why?
L: I dig ALL of the groups I have worked for. Mortician, Necrophagia, Skinless, Anal Blast, Cattle Decapitation and Meat Shits are some of my favorites. As for why, I always felt these groups broke ground and pushed boundaries and I have always done the same.
4. The newest peice youve thrown up is the Don Decker tribute, such a badass peice of artwork man! Anal Blast is one of my favorite bands, and it sucked to hear of Dons passing (RIP BROTHER) Everyone should be rocking some Wings Flew Away. I know everyone has great Decker stories, do you have one that sticks out?L: Thanks for the compliment! I wanted the Don Decker piece to be special. He and I came up with some really cool designs and I will miss him. One story I have is he called me a lot and we would discuss shirt designs and he would ramble for about an hour with these extravagant way-out ideas and he ended the conversation by saying; "Or you could just have me pulling a tampon out of a teenager's cunt by my teeth". And I was like; brilliant! And that became the "Spraying Blood" shirt. Another thing he would do is he would call me and leave these really weird messages where he sang the message and the songs were always about me. I wish I had saved them, hahaha.
5. Do you have any favorite Local bands from where you live?
5. Do you have any favorite Local bands from where you live?L: Cattle Decapitation! Great Group, Cool Guys. I did the OCTO-MOM t-shirt design for them this year that is one of my favorite pieces.6. If you could do grotesque art for any band, past or present, who would it be? Death, Corpse, any of the classics? Also do you have a favorite album cover?A: Death would be awesome! Cannibal Corpse, Nunslaughter, SLAYER!, whew, too many to mention. As for favorite covers, ANYTHING by Repka or PusHead. Presently, Mark Riddick, Putrid, Humanburger, Mike Stoneroad, Mike from Devorement, just to name a few, these guys do great work!
7. Has your work been featured in any magazines, or books?
L: I have been interviewed by webzines and a few UnderGround comics, I was featured in Mark Riddick's fine book on logos called "Logos From Hell" (I believe there is an expanded edition being worked on now). I was asked a few questions by Terrorizer this year too. I had some Zombie paintings show at MF GALLERY in New York in 2007 and 2008. Coming up I will be in the 2010 spring edition of Girls And Corpses and also in the Xmas issue of Angry Drunk Comics.
8. Whats been on your playlist lately?
L: In no particular order: Danzig and Slayer are always there. New, I like the new Cattle Decapitation, Cannibal Corpse, Immortal, Fondlecorpse and the new Goatwhore is incredible! I also listen to Hocico, Velvet Acid Christ, Combichrist, Psyclon Nine and big doses of Mayhem and Volker Taake.
9. Favorite beers?
L: hahahaA: I don't drink anymore, I drank enough for a lifetime in my 20's! My favorites then were: BUDWEISER (hahaha), Elephant Malt Liquor, Dinkle Aker, Heiniken, Olde English 800, and anything that was put in front of me : )
10. Cheers man, Thanks for taking the time to do this interview. Keep up the disgusting work man! Final words?
L: Thank you for the time and great questions. 2010 I will be busting out with some cool stuff! I will be doing some design work for ROTTEN COTTON shirts! I also hope to have a comic in the works and some paintings too! ALL DARK ART of course, hehehe. Stay tuned, the ride gets worse from here on out! www.myspace.com/lourusconi

Interview with Offal from Brazil
Offal oozes putrid death metal! These guys are sick as hell. Keep your eye out for releases from these sickos, they are worth your time!1. Hey Andre - how’s your day going? Thanks for taking your time to do this interview man!
Ohhh, everything is okay here! Really nothing special but we keep trying to get it better!
2. Tell us some history about Offal , when did you guys start, what’s the lineup, etc.
Well, we start our activities late 2003 as a trio just playing some Autopsy’s covers and originally called Orgy in Excrements (Autopsy’s Acts of the Unspeakable song). Some time later we start to do some own songs and when we got some good ones we decided that we must record that stuff! So, we did and I sent it just to some local friends, we really didn’t have any plans to put that stuff out as an official release or something else! Some months later my friend Renzo of I Shit on Your Face would start a label (The Hole Productions) and I sent him the whole stuff, so he said that would like to release it as your number one release! It was really awesome, so we start to produce the whole cover / layout and some months later our 1st full-length was finally out, Offal – S/t full-length CD – The Hole Productions 2004. Fortunately we got several good responses about the CD and nowadays it’s totally sold-out! Later we got some few line-up changes and recently we put out our latest stuff, a split MCD with the Aussie freaks of Bowel Fetus also via The Hole Productions, try to check it!
3. What’s on the horizon for Offal? Any new releases? Tour?
We’re currently working on our 2nd full-length CD to be out late 2009 and we’re planning a split 7”ep too! We’ll keep you all updated about the news.

4. What’s your favorite band that you guys have shared the stage with?
Ohh well, all our gigs were great experiences for us, specially ‘coz we played with great bands such as: Agathocles, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Stoma, Isacaarum, Flesh Grinder… People always give support to us at our live appearances, the freaks are violent and the stage-diving and the mosh-pit circle are really intense, great!
5. Tell us about your record label. Who has released most of your guys stuff?
We’ve just two released stuff: Offal – s/t full-length CD and our split MCD with Bowel Fetus both on The Hole Productions / Brazil. This label is really important for us and all that Renzo did was really essential. His support was really amazing and he always did a great promotion for Offal. It's really easy to find our stuff on most worldwide labels and distros and we got some great responses about both releases. Unfortunately we won’t work together again ‘coz he has other plans for the future and we also think that he can do some opportunity for other new and young bands to put their stuff out, like he did for us in the past! Renzo is one of our best friends and will always be! He’s really doing a great and honest work with his label and with his sick band I Shit on Your Face (Check it out!). Support him, support him! ALL HAIL THE HOLE PRODUCTIONS!
6. So, you guys have a KILLER logo, who was that drawn by? Have you had any others?
Ohhh, thankxxx a lot for your nice comments about logo, great to know that you’ve enjoyed it, thankxxx! Our logo and our latest artwork on the split MCD with Bowel Fetus were drawn by our friend Putrid, you probably saw other sick and vile artworks from him on some stuff from IMPETIGO, CIANIDE, HOODED MENACE, BLOOD FREAK and tons of other awesome bands! Putrid is really a great artist and he really knows what the bands want and what they are about, on this way he can do what the best he has to offer on his amazing and gruesome artworks! Visit his page at: www.myspace.com/putridgoreart
7. What do you do for a job outside of metal?
Well, I’m currently running to finish the university of Zootechny, I’ll work with full animal production. Tersis Zonato and João Ongaro are graphic designers and are currently working with graphic and web design. Eduardo Tobe works with photography and cinegraphy for a worldwide skateboard magazine called Transworld.
8. What’s the process behind writing an Offal song? What are your lyrics about?Well, the lyrics are totally into that disgusting, twisted and vile blood-splattering Old-skull Death Metal addicted to the splatter platters of the 70’s, 80’s and
90’s B-cinema following to all that cult late 80’s / early 90’s Death Metal founders! There are lots of bands doing it nowadays and other ones that already did but we’re always trying to do something different and with our own characteristics and this whole old-school universe has all that we need to do something really great! As for the music, we bring some ideas to rehearse, then each one can say what can be changed or improved on the songs.
9. Any plans on coming to the U.S. sometime? If someone gives you the right amount of money eh?
Ohhh, it’s one of our main plans for the future. We really want to play outside Brazil 2010/2011 and we would like to play over U.S. especially ‘coz we have lots of great friends over there and there so many awesome bands to play together that would be really a dream come true if we can do it, we really hope so!

10. Do you play in any other bands? Or have you been in any previous to Offal?
Yeahhh, we all are involved on other bands and side-projects, they are: Lymphatic Phlegm, Creampie, Lutemkrat, Terror Scream, Svartalfheim and Deformed Slut.

Lividity Interview

1. What’s up you sickos? How’s your day going?
Dave – Our Lividity life is a sweet ride these days!! Plenty of great opportunities to keep us smiling and sweet pussy to make us feel great!! Love it!! Maniacs are really crushing with us these days and since 2006 and the release of “Used, Abused And Left For Dead” shit has taken off real well!!!
2. Lividity has been around for a long time give us a bit of history.Dave – Started it myself in 1993 with drum machine, all instruments, vocals, 4 track recorder, etc… spewing forth my hatred to get my ideas out to the masses!! Finally landed a full band for stage in 1995!! 1996 started the pro recordings with a 4 song demo “Rejoice In Morbidity” and have been building up stronger each year and each release till now!! 15 years later!! Have played great festivals and weekend warrior shows throughout Central and East USA, toured USA / Canada 2006, have been touring Europe since 1999!! Have had a great underground life with this band!! We are lucky, we have been at the right places at the right time… a ton of bands surround that are great but would kill for some of the situations we have found!! Many line up changes, so we have been inconsistent for a long time till we have the band now with my self on guitar/ backing vocals, Von Young (Deaden) on guitar / vocals, Garrett Scanlan (CorpseVomit, Cum Christ, Evil Incarnate) on drums and Chris Campbell on bass!! We are at our strongest point now!! You can preview the lengthy discography on our myspace page of all the releases and bootlegs!! A great collection!!
3. You guys are headed off to Europe. Who are you going with? Have you been there before? Is there a good reaction for you guys over there?
Dave - Europe has the best die hard metal freaks I have ever seen!! True passion for the music, and they follow it from town to town and even the ladies are wearing the camo pants and hats and wind milling their heads and is a great party!! We have been over there a few times now and this will be our 7th trip since June 1999!! We had just played the Party.San Open Air Festival in Germany this past August 2008!! There were 10,000 metal freaks camped out there for 4 days!!! Was the best experience yet!! I think it really helped set up the promotions for the Europe tour in April 2009!! We will have a 7 band roster on this tour with 2 buses carrying the bands and the help… with us, Requiem (Switzerland) as co-headliners, Nordor (Greece), Warpath (Ireland), Abortification (Finland), Beneath The Flesh (USA), and Coffin Syrup (USA)!! A festival on wheels!! Will be a great party!! We will hit places we have never been like Poland as well as familiar places like Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, etc.. 17 shows in 17 days!! April 10 – 26, 2009!! Hope everybody cums out to rage with us each night!! I think we are very well respected and supported in the mighty European nation.. it doesn’t get any better than this!!
4. Do you have any Lividity moment from tour that you will always remember? Some sleazy whore or something?
Dave – There are a few moments!!! 1999 – Decin, Czech Republic: We were staying in this small town in between shows and we were the first Americans to visit this restaurant and they had us sign a book they keep in the front of building with rare and / or famous people have signed it… So this day, we are in that book somewhere with drawings, logo and signatures… 1999 – Czech / German border: visiting the home of Hitler’s girlfriend, and we went up in his tower where you can see the country side and where the German “double s” was cut out in the trees for the air troops… 2003 – Europe tour: Everyday was an adventure on the road 4 weeks with Master: One of the most memorable, was when Will (lead singer of Mastic Scum also on the tour) had introduced me to one of his friends at Innsbruck, Austria and the guy let me have a couple hits of some Austrian drug, literally 5 minutes before our set, and it was one of the most demonic, hateful brutal shows of the tour!!! 2004 – Lyss, Switzerland: Doom Productions flew us in for 1 show that weekend May 15!! What a cool ride, Great little village!! 2005 – Germany: We went to play at the Fuck The Commerce Fest in front of close to 4000 people co headlining with Entombed!! Remarkable!!! 2006 – Toronto, Canada: We were on US / Canada tour and we played this club in Toronto on a Wednesday and still had people drive 7 hours 1 way to see the show because it was the only Canada stop!! 2007 – Europe Tour: We went swimming in the Mediterranean Sea while we were in between 2 Italy shows with day off!! Camped out there, partied, swimming.. A fantastic sight!! Also on that tour, we played a festival last day of tour in Geibelstadt, Germany and the crowd rushed on stage and the sound guys flipped off all power and had to get every one off the stage before we could move forward with the show… haha!!! 2008 – Bad Berka, Germany: Party.San Open Air Fest we played for 10,000 metal hungry freaks!! That was the best show ever!!!! That has helped set up our 2009 Europe Tour in April!!!!
5. Any plans for a new CD to come out soon? Maybe live CD for the Europe tour?
Dave – We are writing material right now and then we will record after the April Europe Tour!! We plan for it to be out September 2009! It will be released through War Anthem Records (Germany) in cooperation with Epitomite Productions (USA)!!! Title will be “To Desecrate & Defile” Some song titles we have are Sword Of Sodomy, Engorged In Blood (To Fill You With My Semen), Inner Fetal Dismemberment, Mass Genocide, Dismantle The Carcass, Sores Break… and more coming soon!! Going to be sick for sure!! We just released a Live CD, “Live Fornication” that has a mix of 2 shows from Central Illinois Metalfest 2007 (Urbana, IL.) and Europe Tour 2007 (Wermelskirchen, Germany)!! That is out on Epitomite Productions!! http://www.%20myspace.%20com/epitomite
6. What do you do outside of play metal?
Dave – That is all we do is play metal, think metal, eat metal, shit metal, ands fuck metal!! It keeps us inspired at all times!! Orgasmic hymns of cum soaked torture!!!
7. Do you listen to any classic rock? what bands?
Dave – Sure… I think I am the only one in the band that listens to classic stuff!! Everybody else can’t get past the thrash era.. I like obscure and guitar driven bands as Alice Cooper, Motorhead, old Scorpions (with Uli Jon Roth on guitar), Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Traffic, Humble Pie, Elf (with Ronnie James Dio), UFO, Santana, Kiss, Ted Nugent… Good shit, you know?!!
8. How long have you been playing guitar for?
Dave – I have been playing since I was 15 and picked 1 up after I heard Metallica “Ride The Lightening”!! Fight Fire With Fire blew me away!!! I have been interested in guitar since 1981 (I was in 6th grade I believe) and I heard The Blizzard Of Ozz with Randy Rhoads!! So I have been playing since 1984 – 1985!!
9. Whats your favorite album of all time?
Dave – That is a tough question, I will just let you know what influenced me by certain albums like Black Sabbath “Master Of Reality”, Exodus “Bonded By Blood”, Metallica “Ride The Lightening”, Ozzy Osbourne “Blizzard Of Ozz”, Slayer “Hell Awaits”, Megadeth “Killing Is My Business…”, Overkill “Feel The Fire”, SOD “Speak English Or Die”, Anthrax “Spreading The Disease”, Cannibal Corpse “Butchered At Birth”, Suffocation “Effigy Of The Forgotten”, At The Gates “Red In The Sky Is Ours”, Venom “At war With Satan”, Death “Scream Bloody Gore”, Deicide “Legion” and many more!!!
10. Who has been some of your favorite bands that Lividity has shared the stage with?
Dave – We played with Deicide in ’98, Six Feet Under in ’95, Dying Fetus in ’95 (first stage appearance for us), Grave / Insatanity in ’96, all the CorpseVomit, Deaden, Waco Jesus and Fleshgrind shows we have jammed, Some festival appearances with Mortal Decay, Internal Bleeding, Suffocation, Entombed, Impetigo (reunion gig at CIM ’07), Vital Remains, Origin, Jungle Rot, Regurgitation, Necrotic Disgorgement, Lust Of Decay, Hemdale, Vomit Remnants, Desecration (UK), Anata, Behemoth, Obituary, Dismember, Purgatory, Bolt Thrower, Bloodbath, Unanimated, General Surgery, Hail Of Bullets, Avulsed, Vomitory, Fleshless and many more!!!

Interview With Super Metal band -Headless Pez
Headless Pez - perhaps Portlands most nasty, insane, alcoholic metal band takes time from whacking off to answer these questions.1. Hey you sickos hows it going? Who am I speaking too?
This be Tha Robbfather
This be Tha Robbfather
2. How did Headless Pez start? I know everyone is wondering how you got the name, and when you guys formed and stuff?
Number 1, nobody cares where we got our ridiculous name. Number 2, due to ongoing legal action involving the church we cannot comment on how we formed. Number 3, our history involves a lot of shitty drummers, a lot of shitty guitarists and a lot of shitty dicks. All that matters is that you are now talking to the most amazing cockmetal band that you have ever had the pleasure to interview.
3. You have quite the reputation around Portland. How many clubs have you guys been kicked out of? Which ones allow you guys back?
We've been kicked out of all of them. Fuck Portland! We're moving to California where people like having blood and shit thrown at them! Plus, the bitches shave their bushes, I'm sick of choking on piss-soaked, hippy, northwest crotch! Next question.

4. Do you guys prefer a house/basement show or a gig at a venue?
We prefer any show where the promoter gets us drunk. If you don't give us booze, we're not playing! If you give us too much, we're not playing! It's your job figure out where the line is crossed. We're retarded, we can't figure it out on our own.
5. That video of Brooks pouring hot sauce in his eye socket on your page is funny as hell, how did you guys get him to do that?! well besides booze...Booze? He was completely sober. He had been working up to that moment for months. He started with mild sauce, worked up to wasabi, until, for the entire week before-hand, he took 12 inches of spicy Mexican dick in his eye for hours everyday. All of that preparation was leading up to that legendary video that all of you enjoy so much.
6. Who does manages all your guys stage props and shit? You guys have quite the array of dead babies, dildos, flaming enemas, etc.
Yes we do.
7. Whats your personal favorite album of all time?
Judas Priest-Painkiller, Any ODB, The Crown-Deathraceking, The Accused-Maddest Stories Ever Told, and any Pink, Not in any particular order. I'm better than you, that's why I have more than one favorite.
8. When will you guys put out a CD next?
We've been together for decades and still haven't put out a full length, so don't hold you fuckin' breath. Instead, just buy our 3 song CD for full length CD price.
9. Is there a favorite show/ venue that you guys have thrashed?
Bakersfield. I wanna give a shout out to EatShit. Those kids know how to fuckin' thrash! If your town wasn't so fuckin' hot and didn't smell like wetback dick, we would move there. Like I said before, FUCK PORTLAND!!! The only reason we're still here is to bring this town crumbling down. Then we'll move on to the next. Our war machine is fully fueled with hippy blood, ready to ram purple-headed dog dicks up all the manclams of anyone that dares stand in our way.
10. last words????
I'm gonna shit in your pants.
